About Us

The Middlesex County Medical Society was founded in 1816 and the Mercer County Medical Society was founded in 1838. In 2021, both counties’ societies merged, becoming the Middlesex & Mercer Counties Medical Society. The combined counties society is a chapter of the Medical Society of New Jersey which was founded in 1776 in New Brunswick, NJ and is the first medical society in this country.
